Volunteer for the Music City July 4th 5K/10K
Our Music City July 4th 5K/10K event would not be possible with out the help of dedicated volunteers! In the form below, we have provided the position, times, number of volunteers needed and the ability for you to sign yourself up.
If you have any additional information or restrictions we should be aware of, please note that in the comment section. We will be in contact to confirm your position leading up to the event.
Please note, we will try to keep you in the position you select but occasionally last minute changes do arise and flexibility is appreciated!
Public Square/Union Ave
SET UP (4 volunteer limit)
Help us set up our Arch, Start/Finish Line Chute etc …
RACE DAY REGISTRATION (10 Volunteer limit)
Hand out participant bib/shirt
RACE DAY COURSE MONITOR
Stationed at key points to help direct the flow of runners/walkers in the right direction. SMALL GROUPS ARE AWESOME FOR THIS.
RACE DAY COURSE WATER STATION
We can never have too many volunteers for water stations! This is great for larger Groups but individuals are AWESOME too. Times vary depending on location and will be advised a couple weeks prior to event.
Race Day Lead Bike (4 volunteer limit)
5K & 10K Lead Bikes. Help lead the 1st place finisher and lead the pack of runners separated from lead runners
Race Day Food Attendants (4 volunteer limit)
Help us cut up fruit and organize the food to hand out to participants. Registration Volunteers can help with this after the race starts.
Back Up Timers (4 volunteer limit)
Help the timing company keep track as a back up timer. Knowning how to use a number key pad is very helpful. Eyes to see bib numbers is great too.
Race Day Clean Up Crew (4 volunteer limit)
After a productive day… we always welcome helping hands to help us pack up.
